Damage to the Vehicle:
The following are exclusions under this category:
- Depreciation, wear and tear, internal mechanical or electrical failures
- Theft of non-factory fitted accessories unless specifically declared and covered
- Excess
- Damage to the Participants property or in the care, custody and control of the Participant
- Injury to persons arising of and in the course of employment or members of the household
The following are exclusions under this category:
- Outside the geographical area specified under this Contract
- Using the vehicle for a purpose other than for private use or as specified in the Contract
- If the vehicle is operated by an unauthorized driver
Additional Covers:
These are available as add-ons by payment of an additional contribution amount to provide cover against:- Natural perils
- Personal accident
- Riot and strike
- Personal effects (loss of personal belongings)
- Hit and run with NCD (no claim discount) protection
- Liability towards passengers in the vehicle
- Windscreen cover protection
- Working risk - this applies to commercial vehicles, for the purpose of construction only (the vehicle in this case is only covered when it is being used on-site, not on the road)
